  • Infrared saunas use invisible infrared light waves, unlike traditional saunas that heat the air. This deeper, more targeted heat penetrates your skin, causing you to sweat. This can improve circulation, potentially aid detoxification, and promote relaxation. Remember to stay hydrated and consult a doctor if you have any health concerns before using one.

  • An infrared sauna is recommended to be used at least twice a week for 10-15 minutes. Once your body is acclimated, you can increase your session time to 20-30 minutes per visit.

    If you are pairing the sauna with the cold plunge, it is recommended to use the sauna first and then the cold plunge afterwards, as your body will experience more benefits if you allow it to heat up naturally after exiting the cold plunge.

  • Our infrared saunas should not be utilized by pregnant Individuals, anyone under the influence of alcohol or pharmaceutical drugs, anyone under the age of 12, or anyone who is predisposed to bleeding

    For individual with diabetes: it is permitted to use the infrared sauna but It is advised that you start slow and monitor blood sugar levels while doing so.

    About dehydration: the amount of sweat caused by an infrared sauna can cause dehydration and use of this service must be supplemented with plenty of water and electrolytes.

Cold Plunge

Submerge into cold plunge therapy to replenish your body with faster recovery, improved circulation, and reduced inflammation.

  • Cold plunge therapy offers numerous recovery benefits, especially after rigorous exercise. The cold water, usually below 50ºF, essentially sends your body into fight or flight mode. When this happens, your body releases cold shock proteins, or reserve proteins, that are found in your liver. These proteins are released into your bloodstream, raising the number of free-radical oxidation, which enhances the rate of protein synthesis muscle repair.

    When your body is submerged in cold water, your body releases heat, which releases calories and aids in fat loss.

  • The ideal temperature for cold plunge therapy is between 45-50℉. The benefits remain the same if the water is slightly toward the warmer end of the spectrum; the colder temperature does not guarantee more results or benefits.

    We recommend sitting in the cold water for 1-3 minutes, not exceeding 5 minutes at a time until you’ve acclimated your body.

    If your goal is to build size in muscle, enhance strength and endurance, or burn fat, you should cold plunge around 20-30 minutes just before a workout or 6-8 hours after your workout has ended.

    If you cold plunge within 4 hours following your workout, it may reduce soreness and inflammation, but could impact your overall fitness goals.

  • Cold plunge therapy should not be utilized by individuals with known heart concerns, cardiac or pulmonary disease, people with open wounds or broken skin, or individuals with a chlorine allergy.

    Although the purpose is to send your body into shock, cold water shock can cause dramatic changes in breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure. Our cold plunge services are not recommended for people with high blood pressure.
